Hitpoints (HP) represents your life force. When HP reaches 0, you are defeated!

Introduction

Hitpoints is your health pool in Legends of Hastinapur. Unlike other skills, Hitpoints has a unique relationship with your level.

Key Features

  • HP = Your Hitpoints Level (direct 1:1 ratio)
  • Level 10 = 10 HP, Level 108 = 108 HP
  • Trains through ALL combat (automatically)
  • Cannot be trained directly
  • Max level: 108, Max HP: 108

How Hitpoints Works

HP Formula

Current Max HP = Hitpoints Level
Examples:
  • Level 10 Hitpoints = 10 HP maximum
  • Level 50 Hitpoints = 50 HP maximum
  • Level 108 Hitpoints = 108 HP maximum

Training Hitpoints

Hitpoints gains XP automatically from all combat damage dealt, regardless of combat style.
XP Formula: 1.33 XP per damage dealt (4 XP / 3)
Combat styles that train Hitpoints:
  • Melee combat
  • Ranged combat
  • Magic combat

HP Management

Healing

Restore HP through:
  • Food consumption (see Cooking)
  • Tapasya meditation - Restores HP at 3x the normal regeneration rate
  • Ayurvedic remedies - Instant healing potions (see Ayurveda)
  • Natural regeneration - Constant passive HP recovery when not in combat

Food Healing Values

Combat Survivability

HP Levels for Content

  • 10-20 HP: Early game content
  • 30-50 HP: Mid-game monsters
  • 60-80 HP: High-level content
  • 90-108 HP: Endgame bosses and PvP

Death

When HP reaches 0:
  • Player is defeated and respawns at a safe location
  • PvE Deaths: Items are kept
  • PvP Deaths: All items are lost except untradable items
** Untradable items can be protected up to 3 times per day (per death, not per item) ** After 3 deaths in a day, untradable items are also lost on subsequent PvP deaths

HP vs Damage

Warning: PvP damage is capped at 90!
  • PvP Max Damage: 90 (prevents one-shot kills on high HP players)
  • PvE Max Damage: 500 (allows efficient boss encounters)
At level 108 (108 HP), surviving at least one hit in PvP is guaranteed.

Run Energy & HP

Run energy regeneration rate is determined by Hitpoints level:
Run Energy Regen Rate = Base Rate × (1 + Hitpoints Level / 100)
Examples:
  • Level 10 HP: 1.10x regeneration rate (+10%)
  • Level 50 HP: 1.50x regeneration rate (+50%)
  • Level 99 HP: 1.99x regeneration rate (+99%)
  • Level 108 HP: 2.08x regeneration rate (+108%)
Higher Hitpoints level provides faster run energy restoration.

Training Strategy

Efficient HP Training

Since HP trains automatically, focus on:
  1. Deal maximum damage (high Strength for max hit)
  2. Fight high-HP monsters (more damage = more XP)
  3. Use accurate weapons (miss less = more damage)

HP Milestones

  • Level 10: Starting HP (tutorial complete)
  • Level 40: Can survive most mid-game content
  • Level 70: Ready for hard bosses
  • Level 99+: Endgame content ready
  • Level 108: Maximum survivability

Tips & Tricks

  • Tip: HP trains automatically - focus on other combat skills!
  • Always carry food appropriate for your content
  • Higher HP = more mistakes forgiven in combat
  • HP affects run energy regen - higher is better
  • Cannot be one-shot in PvP past level 91 HP
