Strength is a combat skill that determines your maximum hit damage in melee combat. Higher Strength means higher damage output, and also provides bonuses to Woodcutting and Mining through critical hit mechanics!

Introduction

Strength is crucial for dealing damage in combat and gathering resources efficiently. In Legends of Hastinapur, your Strength level directly affects your maximum hit in combat and provides critical hit chances for gathering skills.

Key Features

  • Determines maximum damage per hit in combat
  • Enables critical hits in Woodcutting and Mining (faster resource gathering)
  • Trains through combat damage
  • Works with Attack for effective combat
  • Max level: 108

How Strength Works

Max Hit Formula

Max Hit = (Strength Level + Strength Bonus) / 10 Minimum: 1 damage
Examples:
  • Strength 50 + Weapon bonus 30 = 80 effective strength
  • Max Hit: 80/10 = 8 damage
  • Strength 99 + Weapon bonus 50 = 149 effective strength
  • Max Hit: 149/10 = 14 damage (rounded down)

Critical Hits in Gathering

Strength also affects Woodcutting and Mining!
Critical Hit Chance:
  • Base chance: 5%
  • +1% per 10 Strength levels
  • At 100 Strength: 15% critical hit chance
Critical Hit Effect:
  • Instantly gather a resource (skips one tick)
  • Provides 1.5x XP for that action
  • Makes gathering feel more engaging and rewarding

Training Strength

Important: XP is earned by dealing damage!
XP Formula: 4 XP per damage dealt
Combat Styles:
  • Aggressive: Strength XP only (4 XP per damage)
  • Melee: Attack + Strength split (2 XP each per damage)
  • Defensive: No Strength XP

Training Methods

Low Level (1-20)

  • Train on Training Dummies or weak monsters
  • Use Aggressive combat style
  • Focus on consistent hits

Mid Level (20-50)

  • Fight mid-tier monsters
  • Use weapons with good strength bonuses
  • Consider Melee style to train Attack simultaneously

High Level (50-108)

  • Boss monsters with high HP
  • Maximize damage output
  • Use best weapons and armor

Strength Bonuses

Different weapons provide strength bonuses:
Weapon TierApprox. Strength Bonus
Bronze (Bronze)+6 to +10
Iron (Iron)+12 to +15
Steel (Steel)+18 to +22
Gold (Swarna)+30 to +35
Meteoric (Ulka)+45 to +50
Divine (Divya)+60 to +70
Tip: Check weapon stats - some weapons have higher strength bonuses than others!

Damage Caps

  • PvP: Maximum 90 damage per hit
  • PvE: Maximum 500 damage per hit
Even with very high Strength, damage is capped to prevent extreme one-shots.

Combat Efficiency

Damage Per Second (DPS)

Your DPS depends on:
  1. Max Hit (Strength-based)
  2. Accuracy (Attack-based)
  3. Weapon Speed
Balance all three for optimal combat performance!

Tips & Tricks

  • Tip: Use Aggressive style for fastest Strength training!
  • Higher max hit = faster monster kills
  • Strength bonus equipment multiplies your effectiveness
  • Train with Attack for balanced melee combat
  • Use best strength bonus weapons, not just highest tier
  • Higher Strength makes Woodcutting and Mining more efficient!
