Cooking allows players to prepare food for healing, ranging from simple roasted fish to complex Vedic Meals (Bhojan) using Tiffins and Thalis.
Meal System (Bhojan) Mechanics
Meals are created by combining Base (Rice/Chapati) + Side Disp (Dal/Veg) + Main (Veg/Meat).
Vegetarian vs Non-Vegetarian
A core trade-off exists between physical recovery and spiritual purity.
The Tamasic Debuff
Consuming any Non-Veg meal applies Tamasic Aura:
- Prayer Drain: Drain rate increased by 10%.
- Tapasya Block: Unable to perform Tapasya (XP or Bija gathering) for 30 minutes.
- Cleansing: Effect can be removed instantly by performing a Yajna (Fire Ritual) at your Player Owned Ashram.
Warrior's Vitality
To balance the debuff, Non-Veg meals provide a temporary combat boost:
- Effect: +2 to +6 Temporary Strength/Attack Levels (scales with meal tier).
- Duration: 10 minutes.
- Application Rule: This buff is applied to the Base Level before any Potion (%) or Prayer (%) multipliers are calculated.
Satvik Clarity
Vegetarian meals provide a spiritual boost:
- Effect: +1 to +3 Passive Prayer Restoration per minute (scales with meal tier).
- Bonus: +5% XP gain for Tapasya skill during effect.
- Duration: 10 minutes.
