Purpose: Comprehensive documentation of all 18 skills in Legends of Hastinapur.
Skill Categories
Combat Skills
Attack
- Purpose: Determines melee accuracy
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Attacking enemies with accurate melee styles
- Equipment Unlocks: Weapon tiers (Bronze → Iron → Steel → Soma → Vajra → Divya)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Strength
- Purpose: Determines melee max hit
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Attacking enemies with aggressive melee styles
- Impact: Each level increases max hit by ~0.5
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Defence
- Purpose: Determines defense accuracy and armor unlocks
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Attacking enemies with defensive styles, or taking damage
- Special: Contributes to Dodge chance (0.1% per level, max 10%)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Ranged
- Purpose: Determines ranged accuracy and damage
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Attacking with bows, crossbows, or thrown weapons
- Equipment Unlocks: Bow tiers, Greatbow requirements (combined with Magic)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Magic
- Purpose: Determines spell accuracy and damage
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Casting combat spells, utility spells, or enchanting
- Spellbooks: Combat Mantras, Utility Mantras, Teleport Mantras
- Resource: Bijas (replaces Runes)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Hitpoints
- Purpose: Determines maximum health
- Level Cap: 100
- Base Health: 10 + (Hitpoints level × modifier)
- Trains By: Any combat activity (shared XP)
- Starting Level: 10

Support Skills
Tapasya (Prayer)
- Purpose: Grants combat buffs and protection prayers
- Level Cap: 100
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Active Idling (Chanting at Tirthas).
- Constraint: Must keep client open. Character performs chanting animation. NO Offline/Background progress.
- Resource: Prayer Points (Max = Tapasya Level)
- Key Prayers:
- Protect from Melee/Ranged/Magic (100% damage block)
- Offensive prayers (Attack/Strength boosts)
- Defensive prayers (Defense boosts)
- Drain Rate: Per-prayer defined, not monster-based
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Slayer
- Purpose: Protect Ashrams from threatening monster colonies
- Level Cap: 100
- Task Givers: Rishis located at various Ashrams
- Mechanics:
- Rishis assign tasks to kill monsters from a nearby "colony" (0-250 tile radius)
- Assignments are weighted by Rishi tier and Player Combat Level
- Slayer Points:
- Earn base points for every completed task
- Streak Bonuses:
- Every 10th task: 2x points
- Every 50th task: 3x points
- Every 100th task: 10x points
- Unlocks: Ability to harm specific monsters, specialized equipment

Gathering Skills
Mining
- Purpose: Extract ores from rocks
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Mining rocks
- Resources: Copper, Tin, Iron, Gold, Soma Ore, Vajra Ore, Divya Ore
- Tools: Pickaxes (Bronze → Divya)
- Mechanics: Rocks deplete and respawn
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Fishing
- Purpose: Catch fish from water sources
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Fishing at spots
- Tools: Fishing rods, nets, harpoons
- Resources: Various fish (raw, cookable)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Woodcutting
- Purpose: Chop trees for logs
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Chopping trees
- Resources: Normal, Sal, Ashoka, Teak, Sandalwood, Maya, Mahogany, Rosewood
- Tools: Axes (Bronze → Divya)
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Hunter
- Purpose: Trap and catch creatures
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Setting traps, tracking creatures
- Methods:
- Tracking (Claw Trap): Kasturi Deer (Musk Deer) - drops musk for herblore
- Box Traps: Golden Mongoose, Agni Beetles (Explosive - Chinchompa equivalent)
- Bird Traps/Houses: Pigeons (sold to Castle), Celestial Peacock (rare feathers)
- Net Traps: Young variants, aquatic lizards
- Resources: Furs, bones, musk, explosive beetles, feathers
- Skill Cloak Perk: Traps never fail or break, prey attracted to traps
Farming
- Purpose: Grow crops and herbs
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Planting and harvesting
- Patch Types: Allotments, Herbs, Trees, Fruit Trees, Special
- Key Crops:
- Herbs: Sanjeevani (Legendary healing), Soma Vine (Stat boost potions)
- Flowers: Golden Lotus (Prayer potions), Marigolds
- Trees: Maya Trees, Mango Trees, Coconut Palms
- Mechanics: Growth cycles, disease, composting
- Skill Cloak Perk: 4x instant growth per day
Artisan Skills
Smithing
- Purpose: Smelt ores and smith equipment
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Smelting bars and smithing items
- Products: Armor, weapons, tools
- Tiers: Bronze → Iron → Steel → Soma → Vajra → Divya
- Special: Divya Bars require Soma Bar + Vajra Bar + Divine Essence

Crafting
- Purpose: Create jewelry, leather, and decorative items
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Crafting items at crafting stations
- Products: Rings, necklaces, leather armor, Naga Hide, Makara Hide

Fletching
- Purpose: Create bows and arrows
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Making bows, arrows, bolts, darts
- Products: Shortbows, longbows, greatbows, ammunition

Cooking
- Purpose: Cook raw food into edible food
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Cooking food on fires or ranges
- Mechanics: Burn chance decreases with level
- Products: Cooked fish, meat, pies, special dishes

Ayurveda (Herblore)
- Purpose: Create potions from herbs and secondaries
- Level Cap: 100
- Trains By: Making potions
- Products: Combat potions, skill potions, specialty potions
- Herbs: Grimy → Clean → Unfinished Potion → Finished Potion
- Skill Cloak Perk: TBD
Skill Mechanics

- Level 100: Mastery (Soft Cap).
- Level 108: True Mastery (Hard Cap). Total XP: ~35M.

Player Owned Ashram
Note: This is NOT a trainable skill. It's a gold sink system.
Overview
- Purpose: Customizable player housing with functional benefits
- Cost: Gold sink (construction and upgrades cost gold)
- Integration: Combines features from multiple skills
