Getting Started with Legends of Hastinapur - your complete beginner's guide!

Welcome to Legends of Hastinapur!

Legends of Hastinapur is an MMORPG set in ancient India. This guide will help you get started on your adventure.

Tutorial: Hastinapur City

The tutorial takes place in Hastinapur, the central city of the kingdom. Here you'll learn:

Basic movement and controls
Combat fundamentals
Skill training basics
Using the bank
Interacting with NPCs

Understanding Your Character

Stats

Your character has several core stats:

Stat	Description	Starting Value
Hitpoints	Your health (HP = 10 + Level)	11 HP at Level 1
Prayer	Spiritual energy for prayers	Equal to your Prayer level
Run Energy	Movement stamina	100 (regenerates over time)

Skills

There are 3 main skill categories:

Combat Skills:

Attack - Melee accuracy
Strength - Melee damage
Defence - Damage reduction
Hitpoints - Your life points
Prayer - Temporary combat bonuses
Ranged - Ranged combat (future)
Magic - Spellcasting (future)

Gathering Skills:

Woodcutting - Chop trees for logs
Mining - Mine rocks for ores and sphatikas
Fishing - Fish for food

Production Skills:

Fletching - Craft Yoga Dandas and ranged weapons
Tapasya - Meditation and bija creation (quest-unlocked)
Cooking - Cook food for healing
Smithing - Forge weapons and armor

First Steps

1. Bank Your Items

Banks are located in major cities
All items stored safely
Access from any bank in the world

2. Start Training Combat

Train on low-level monsters near Hastinapur:

Rats (Level 1) - 10 HP
Chickens (Level 1) - 10 HP
Guards (Level 3) - 13 HP

3. Gather Resources

Begin with Woodcutting or Mining:

Woodcutting: Chop Mango trees (level 1)
Mining: Mine Copper/Tin ore (level 1)
Fishing: Catch Shrimp (level 1)

4. Enable Prayers

At level 1 Prayer, you can use:

Attack Boost T1 - +5% attack accuracy
Run Energy I - 2x run energy regeneration

Money Making for Beginners

Levels 1-15

Chop and sell Mango logs: ~5k gold/hr
Mine and sell Copper/Tin: ~8k gold/hr
Kill chickens and sell feathers: ~3k gold/hr

Levels 15-35

Chop Neem logs: ~20k gold/hr
Mine Iron ore: ~30k gold/hr
Fish and cook Salmon: ~40k gold/hr

Levels 35+

Chop Teak logs: ~150k gold/hr
Mine Coal: ~200k gold/hr

Combat Basics

The Combat Triangle

Melee beats Warriors
Ranged beats Mages (future)
Magic beats Rangers (future)

Prayer Points

Prayer points = Your Prayer level
Level 1 = 1 point, Level 108 = 108 points
Recharge at altars in temples
Prayers drain points over time

Protection Prayers (Advanced)

At high levels, unlock powerful protection:

Protect from Melee (Level 43) - 100% PvE block, 50% PvP
Protect from Ranged (Level 45) - 100% PvE block, 50% PvP
Protect from Magic (Level 47) - 100% PvE block, 50% PvP
