Tweak: High Defence against Magic, Moderate against Ranged, Low against Crush.

Combat Mechanics

Brahmarakshasa fights using a Spectral Spear. The fight has 3 Phases.

Phase 1: The Duel (100% - 60% HP)

  • Auto Attack: Melee stabs (Slash). High accuracy.
  • Special: Leaping Strike:
    • Leaps to a target, dealing damage in 3x3 area.
    • Counter: Move away when he shouts "Yield!".

Phase 2: Spirit Spears (60% - 30% HP)

  • Behavior Change: Keeps distance, throws spears.
  • Mechanic: Cursed Spear:
    • Throws a spear at player's location.
    • Spear lands and becomes a Static Entity (200 HP).
    • Aura: Deals damage to anyone within 2 tiles.
    • Brahmarakshasa gains +10% Defence for each active spear.
    • Counter: Destroy the spears quickly.

Phase 3: Enraged Spirit (30% - 0% HP)

  • Visual: Glows red/purple.
  • Mechanic: Spirit Call:
    • Summons 3 Fallen Spirits (Minions, 80 HP).
    • Spirits chase players and explode on contact (Suicide bombers).
  • Stats: Attack Speed doubles (Enraged).
  • Prayer Disable: Smite effect on every hit.

Strategy

  1. Phase 1: Pray Melee. Spread out to avoid Leaping Strike splash.
  2. Phase 2: PRIORITY: Kill Spears immediately. Use Crush weapons.
  3. Phase 3: Freeze/Bind minions. Burn boss down. Pray flicking required.
